Darcy Ebentier

Darcy is currently earning her bachelor's degree in Health & Humanity from the University of Southern California. She joined the SCCWRP Biology department in 2007 as a Laboratory Assistant on the southern California epidemiology studies to assess whether swimmers are at risk of developing illnesses based on water contact beach recreation. Since then, she has also been involved with studies on indicator bacteria populations in beach sediments, and the selectivity of different culture media for Enterococci species. Her current focus is the epidemiology study at Surfrider Beach in Malibu, CA.
