Kenny McCune

Kenny McCune is a Research Technician at SCCWRP and primarily works on management and analysis of data used for the development of monitoring programs. He received a B.S. in biology from California State University, Fullerton in 2014, and is currently working on his M.S. in biology at California State University, Long Beach. Kenny joined SCCWRP in 2013. His present research efforts focus the development of monitoring and assessment tools for Southern California submerged aquatic vegetation.

Areas of Expertise

Kenny McCune has experience modeling and assessing freshwater and marine environments.  Currently, Kenny is interested in investigating how biological conditions vary along environmental gradients.  As part of his M.S. thesis research and his work at SCCWRP, Kenny is developing and testing the efficacy of different submerged aquatic vegetation research methods.
