Lucy Mao is a Research Technician in the Microbiology Department. She received her B.S. in biological science with a concentration in cellular and developmental biology from California State University, Fullerton in 2015. Mao joined SCCWRP in 2014. In her current role, she assists microbiologists in executing studies and processes samples for further data analysis.

Lucy Mao is a Research Technician at SCCWRP for the Microbiology department. She assists the Microbiology department by helping the microbiologists prepare for their studies in both the field for sampling and in the lab for processing. Before joining SCCWRP, Mao was an undergraduate researcher experimenting with environmental microbes for potential bioremediation in an Environmental Microbiology Research Laboratory at California State University, Fullerton.
