Shelly L. Moore is the head of the Information Management Group at SCCWRP. Ms. Moore specializes in GIS analysis, data analysis, and database management. She received her Undergraduate degree in Marine Biology in 1991 and her Masters degree in Biology in 1998 from California State University, Long Beach. Ms. Moore joined SCCWRP in July 1994 and spent six years in the Fish Biology Group, where her focus was on examining fish and invertebrate catch parameters and assemblages. Her present research efforts focus on mapping various parameters of pollution in the Southern California Bight, coordinating data for the regional monitoring program, and examining the amount, type, and distribution of marine debris on beaches and in the Pacific Ocean.
