
Lisa is an atmospheric scientist whose research interests include air pollution exposure assessment and the role of atmospheric deposition in water pollution. She received her BA in Chemistry from San Jose State University, in 1995; her MS in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2000; and her D.Env. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, 2005. Lisa joined SCCWRP in October 2002. Her present research focuses on the contribution of atmospheric deposition of trace metals, nutrients and pesticides in the Los Angeles air basin to pollutant loading in coastal watersheds, estuaries and nearshore marine habitats.
