
Becky is a GIS programmer/analyst specializing in GIS mapping and spatial analysis of oceanographic and biological data. She received Bachelors degrees in Biology and English from Williams College in 1994 and a Masters degree in Marine Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, in 1999. Becky joined SCCWRP in March 2007. Her background includes research on harmful phytoplankton blooms and their effects on coastal marine ecosystems in New York and California, in addition to participation in studies of the diversity and ecology of marine protozoan communities. Her present research involves the mapping and analysis of water resources data.
