Doris Vidal-Dorsch specializes in aquatic ecotoxicology and the adaptation of aquatic invertebrates to pollutants. She received her undergraduate degree from the "Instituto Tecnológico de el Mar," Veracruz, Mexico, in 1993 and a Ph. D. in Integrative Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, in 2001. Doris joined SCCWRP in 2002. She is currently working in the Toxicology Department where she conducts research on the relationship between contaminated sediment and biological effects.
