Bight '08 assessment report on sediment chemistry now available

The Southern California Bight 2008 Regional Monitoring Program Volume III Report on Sediment Chemistry was released on November 18. The Regional Monitoring Program (Bight ’08) is a collaborative, large-scale five year survey of conditions in the Southern California Bight. Reports on Sediment Toxicity and Areas of Special Biological Significance were completed previously. Additional reports on benthic macrofauna, demersal fishes and megabenthic invertebrates, shoreline microbiology, water quality, rocky reef, and coastal wetlands and estuaries are under preparation.
