Lindsay Darjany is a Senior Research Technician in the Microbiology Department at SCCWRP. She has a diverse background spanning the areas of intertidal ecology, phytoplankton ecology, and marine microbial ecology. She assists in projects ranging from quantitative microbial risk assessments, analysis of cyanotoxins and the use of molecular tools to study microbial water quality.
She received her M.S. in biology at California State University, Long Beach with a focus in marine microbial and invertebrate carbon cycling using stable isotopes. She received her B.S. in marine biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She joined SCCWRP in 2017.
