SCCWRP’s Response to COVID-19

SCCWRP remains firmly committed to protecting the health and well-being of our member agencies, project partners, staff and their loved ones during this difficult time. Starting in mid-March, SCCWRP staff transitioned to working from home, and have continued making excellent progress on SCCWRP research projects.

Effective May 12, 2020, SCCWRP is partially reopening its Costa Mesa facility, consistent with California Governor Gavin Newsom’s May 4, 2020 Executive Order pertaining to Stage 2 business reopenings. SCCWRP’s reopening is limited to a subset of staff whose work is dependent on access to the agency’s specialized facilities. We have implemented numerous additional safety measures to protect our staff; this includes not being able to accept visitors at this time.

All SCCWRP staff remain reachable at any time via email.

SCCWRP is continuing to monitor this evolving situation closely and adhering to all guidelines from public health officials. This post will be updated as changes occur.
