SCCWRP’s Response to COVID-19

As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread, SCCWRP is committed to protecting the health and well-being of our member agencies, project partners, staff and their loved ones.

More now than ever, SCCWRP is compelled by its mission to advance the science that will serve as a foundation for water-quality management actions and decisions. SCCWRP staff are fully equipped with the latest technology to work remotely, and SCCWRP’s research projects are continuing to move forward. Operations at SCCWRP’s Costa Mesa facility have been curtailed. Consistent with California Governor Gavin Newsom’s March 19, 2020 Executive Order, only essential laboratory and field activities are occurring, and all on-site meetings have been cancelled.

All SCCWRP staff remain reachable at any time via email.

SCCWRP continues to monitor this evolving situation closely and is adhering to guidelines from public health officials. This post will be updated as changes occur.
