SCCWRP Commission

The SCCWRP Commission, or governing board, consists of representatives from each of SCCWRP’s 14 member agencies. These agencies represent a diverse group of public bodies responsible for water quality management and aquatic ecosystems protection in Southern California. The Commission is composed of four wastewater dischargers, four stormwater management agencies, and six agencies from the regulatory sector.*

The SCCWRP Commission meets quarterly and provides a unique forum for these diverse agencies to interact and facilitate impartial research that will improve management of Southern California's ocean and associated watersheds. Participation by top executives from the member agencies on the SCCWRP Commission ensures that SCCWRP's research is communicated to and acted upon by Southern California's environmental management community.
