Scott Martindale is SCCWRP’s communications coordinator. He received his B.S. in biology in 2004 and M.A. in journalism in 2006, both from the University of Southern California. Martindale joined SCCWRP in 2014 after an eight-year career as a newspaper journalist. As SCCWRP’s communications coordinator, Martindale is responsible for developing, executing and advancing an agency communications strategy that brings clarity and understanding to SCCWRP's role in the aquatic sciences. He plans, executes and oversees a variety of translational and scientific synthesis publications, including the Director's Report, the Annual Report and the Research Plan.
