SCCWRP’s staff is organized into five science departments that work in an interdisciplinary, interconnected fashion to improve monitoring, assessment and modeling of aquatic systems. Research conducted by SCCWRP staff has served as the scientific foundation for management decision-making and regulatory policies that have extended important new protections to ecosystems, wildlife and humans. SCCWRP’s staff has published more than 600 peer-reviewed journal articles with hundreds of external collaborators, and serves in leadership capacities for dozens of scientific advisory committees, professional societies and peer-reviewed journals.
