Steve Bay

Steven M. Bay is a biologist who specializes in investigating the response of marine life to contaminants. He received his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology from California State University, Long Beach in 1976 and a Masters Degree in Biology from the same university in 1982. Steve joined SCCWRP in August 1980. Steve's present research activities focus on developing methods to assess the impacts of sediment contamination on invertebrates and determining the effects of contaminants of emerging concern on fish.
